Gengdan Institute of Beijing University of Technology was invited to participate in the Third China-South Korea Education Forum Exploring New Paths for Industry-Education Integration and International Cooperation Together
From November 1st to 2nd, the "Third China-Korea Education Forum – China-Korea University Presidents' Forum," hosted by The Chinese Association for Non-Government Education (CANGE), co-organized by the 21st Century Korea-China Exchange Association, and undertaken by Taishan College of Science and Technology, was successfully held in Tai'an, Shandong Province. Wang Xiaoyu, the Director of the International Office of our university, was invited to attend the forum. Alongside representatives from nearly a hundred universities in China and Korea, they gathered to discuss innovative practices in higher education internationalization and talent cultivation under the theme of "Strengthening International Cooperation and Promoting Industry-Education Integration."

This edition of the forum featured an opening ceremony, keynote speeches, an Innovation and Practice Exchange Conference on Industry-Education Integration, a Cooperation Nego tiation Meeting, and several cultural exchange activities. The content covered multiple dimensions, including university talent cultivation, university-enterprise collaboration, and regional educational cooperation. Director Wang Xiaoyu actively participated in various agendas, engaging in in-depth exchanges with representatives from multiple universities in China and South Korea. She shared the characteristics and achievements of our university in the internationalization of applied talent cultivation, demonstrating our university open approach to education and proactive efforts in expanding international cooperation.

During the cooperation negotiation session, Ms. Wang had practical exchanges with representatives from several universities, including Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, discussing various topics such as faculty and student exchanges, credit recognition, and joint training programs, laying the groundwork for the subsequent implementation of inter-university cooperation projects.

It is particularly noteworthy that representatives from universities with which our university has maintained long-term and positive cooperation, such as Hoseo University, Woosong University, and Seoul School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies, also gathered at the event. The on-site exchanges not only consolidated past friendships but also allowed all parties to look ahead and discuss further deepening the connotations of cooperation and expanding cooperation areas, pushing the cooperative relationships to new heights.

This participation represents an important measure taken by our university to continuously advance its international development strategy and deepen China-Korea educational cooperation. In the future, our university will take this opportunity to further broaden international cooperation channels, strengthen resource co-construction and sharing, and commit to cultivating high-quality applied talents with a global perspective, contributing BGD wisdom and strength to China-Korea education in the new era.
